Laboratory
San Jose, CA
This $8 million project is a cooperative effort with Montgomery Watson Harza Engineers. It includes an 18,000 square foot new building with analytical laboratory space, administrative and office support spaces, as well as laboratory support and mechanical/electrical support space. The west elevation of the building is designed to relate architecturally to the District Headquarters building located across North Pond, hence the sloped standing seam metal roofs. While appropriate variation in massing between the two buildings, they are unified with a similar palette of materials and colors.
