Jones Church was designed to replace and expand an unreinforced masonry church that was severely damaged in the Loma Prieta earthquake. The new church provides a campus including a sanctuary, library, business offices, conference rooms, school, rehearsal spaces, as well as large multi-purpose room with a full commercial kitchen for the social program. In addition underground parking was provided for 60 cars. All of the stained glass windows from the original church were removed, refurbished and incorporated into the design of the new building.
