HKIT has designed a new residential campus for the St. Vincent’s School for Boys, a well-respected treatment program for seriously abused and at-risk children and youth. The project is located on a 15-acre parcel in Marin County, north of San Rafael. It will include 80,000 SF of new construction, including classroom, athletic, administrative, and residential buildings. A paddock for horses – integral to the program’s therapeutic work – is a part of the new construction. The facility will be licensed by the State of California Department of Social Services and will have approximately 75 boys in residence.
